Drop Files
A secure, high-performance cloud and Peer-to-Peer (P2P) file-sharing platform with granular access controls and robust administrative tools.

The project
Drop Files is a secure, high-performance cloud and P2P file-sharing platform. Built with Next.js 15, TypeScript, and Supabase, it provides users with a secure way to distribute files with granular access controls (passwords, download limits, expiration dates). It features reliable uploads using Supabase Storage, a comprehensive admin panel for content moderation, soft deletes, and a zero-knowledge architecture. Playwright ensures 0 accessibility violations and robust E2E testing.
Approach
I focus on explicit data contracts, small independently testable modules, accessible UI states and the simplest architecture that can handle the real constraints.
What I learned
Successful delivery depends as much on clarifying rules and communicating trade-offs as it does on writing code.
